In an earlier blog I mentioned that Camryn was very helpful on photo shoots and a promising photog herself.

She has entered in a few photo contests and has done very well. Last year she entered in the Crème of the Crop Photo Contest that Illinois State Treasurer, Michael Frerichs hosted for students and is again hosting this year. In his words "This contest gives students an opportunity to capture the beauty of our state and showcase the importance of agriculture in Illinois".

  Well she entered and she won the first place prize in her age category of 8-10. What an accomplishment! She won a trip for the family to the Illinois State Fair where we were meet with red carpet treatment! We were quickly shuttled to the Illinois Agriculture tent where she meet Michael Frerichs, was photographed and interviewed by ABC News, Channel 20 out of Springfield! She did amazing! I will attempt to post a link.  She was given $100 that was put in the Bright Star Fund which is a Scholarship program, Awesome! Also, her photo was featured on many Illinois brochures and calendars.
