When I first started years ago I wasn't completely sure in which direction I wanted to take my photography.
I've always wanted to be a fashion photographer. As time went by Landscape and nature became my calling. I loved photos of rolling hills, beautiful lakes, streams and mountains. So, I thought "I will became a famous landscape photographer".
Well, that is easier said than done, it's virtually impossible due to my full time job. I'm not able to travel as much or as often as I would like to the places I would have to take those types of photos. Maybe some day. Wouldn't it be great to work for National Geographic and be sent all over the world to capture these images of magnificent landscapes?
So, I put it out there that I was available to capture people's special moments in time. Family and engagement portraits, Senior portraits, newborn photography and some events. I get to do something I've always loved. Taking pictures of people. It makes me happy and I hope that when my clients see the results of my work that they're also happy.
Here is one of my favorite photos from our trip to Ely. Minnesota a couple of years ago.
We had an absolute blast! We meet Dana's father there and one of my oldest and closest friends for a few days of fishing and camping. We were eventually stormed out but the memories will be there forever.
